I'm a native Floridian, from St. Augustine. I now live in North Carolina with my wife, Setsuko, and schnauzer, Pepper. I'm a retired soldier, and also worked in the U.S. civil service and several civilian jobs. I started writing avout six years ago, after retiring.

I write as a hobby, just for the love of it. So far, I have forty short stories and three nonfiction pieces published, all in the small press. About ten of the stories have been reprinted.

I love collecting old music (30s through 60s), hiking, swimming, and gardening.

I love dogs. I have only one with me now, but as man and boy, I have had many canine pals. They are now cavorting with angels. I will have a large group waiting for me at The Rainbow Bridge. :)
